www.energybulletin.net/node/5104This is a document from The post carbon institute. It was interesting deciding which heading to post this under. It could have been at home under almost any of our headings. I put it in Permaculture because this is a systemic/structural issue. It is useful to read this paper and to consider how living in such a society would affect ones life. What would a typical day be like? Would there be any such thing as a typical day? How might my diet change? What would 'work' be like. The questions are endless and the answers interesting.

great link. much to chew on there. thanks
given that many of us urbanites are very time poor (9-5 and worse), at least for now(!), would it be of value to try and prioritise/rate the examples quoted in your link, in order of most valuable first?
e.g. whilst i love the recumbent trike design, given that i am already mobile on 2wheels, i may be better using my limited time to build a lean-to greenhouse.
bit like the stuff we touch on in our workshops - insulate your house first, then consider fitting solar panels, .....
