This thread will be used to develop a list of frequently asked questions along with their answers, I see it as a quick guide where you can get the information you want fairly quickly. To this end I will keep this thread free of discussion and we can discuss any points in a different thread.
In the beginning the information will be what I 'think' is correct, but since half the time I don't have a clue what I am talking about this will be updated as better or more accurate ideas and information are brought forward and discussed.

FAQ
- What is the Coppice Project
With the coppice project our principal aim is to create a 'Tree allotment' scheme both for ourselves and also to encourage other groups to create their own scheme. The ideal would be to have land ownership or some form of long term lease, but in the shorter term we are looking to work on any suitable woodland so that we can learn the skills involved and also to start building our 'coppicing community' - How is the Coppice Project to be Organised
Initial suggestions are that the Coppice Project would be set up as a CIC or Community Interest Company - Who can Join the Coppice Project
Anyone who meets the criteria set out by the initial membership - What are the aims of the Coppice Project
The main aim of the Coppice Project will be to produce an Eco friendly, cost effective, fuel source based on short rotation coppice wood
Secondary aims would be to;
Encourage or organise other groups to do the same thing.
Educate and advise people in the use and application of various Eco technologies
Build a community of like minded members - How can I get more information?
You can either keep an eye on this board as I will update it in the event of any new information, or send me a private message through the forum and I will email any interesting updates, but don't worry I won't spam you or share your email outside of the Solar-Co organisation
