just noticed an error in the Dos and Don'ts.
The glycol advice is mixed up - propylene is the less toxic one and ethylene glycol is the one to avoid (automotive antifreeze is generally ethylene and very toxic)

today I spotted propylene glycol as an ingredient of a mouthwash, so it must be reasonably safe. It was in a low alcohol version of popular brand but not in any of the others on the shelf.

do's and dont's still have this error...... "Never use car/automotive antifreeze in your system (propylene glycol is toxic). Always use ethylene glycol instead."

Here's the Co-Ops draft list of simple Dos & Don'ts, which is intended to remind the DIY installer (and indeed the householder employing a plumber) of the basic rules to be observed. (error re glycol fixed eventually, thanks for reminding me tphase!) All comments and suggestions welcome... Attachments:
