no probs jim. the next order will likely be late feb/early march.
use the online inquiry form to get yourself access to the online pricelist and to order paper catalogue.
when we order we get the standard wholesale prices, i.e., no extra discounts, but we do get free delivery by ensuring the order value exceeds £500. with the huge jump in the retail price of organic food the last few years, it means folks can still enjoy organic food at affordable prices. it's also good because it helps develop an awareness of what a household is using - one tends to lose sight of this when in the habit of nipping out in the car for last minute requirements.
for non organic items, there's also a great food co-op operating at lawrence street workshops. open every saturday afternoon. if you're free some saturday maybe we can take a visit?

Hi Cye,
That sounds good, I'd love to pop along and have a look, how does it work? Is it like a market or looking at order forms ?

it's a room above the workshops like a small shop, shelves and shelves of non perishables, except there's no counter with someone behind it! there's a price list on the wall and a tin to put your money in. AFAIK you just go along on a saturday afternoon, but if you're thinking about this saturday i'd ring first if i were you.

Yes I was thinking of this Saturday. I'm not expecting to be very busy, so I'd like to get out and about if I can, and this sounds interesting, who would I phone? and do you have their number?
Thanks

hi stu
we're placing an order next around mid Nov, so if anyone wishes to participate please let me have a shopping list by about 10th Nov.
this time around, so far we have half a dozen families (including ourselves) who have advised that they will be ordering.
next order after this one will be the new year. best regards

The Suma buying group has now been going over a year, and we have now just moved from quarterly ordering to ordering once every two months.
Thanks to all members of the food group for getting this off the ground.
Anyone else within 20 miles of Belfast is more than welcome to join us.
