Cye has just sent me another edition of The Idler and although it has 47 articles spread over 200 pages, I am already starting to fret about what life will be like when I finish reading it. The Idler is a quarterly publication dedicated to the subject of freedom and cultivated leisure. It is a funny and bold (in all senses of the word) collection of essays, cartoons and pictures that explores what we do with our lives, and is ruthlessly critical of those who would like to tell us what to do with them. It promotes anything to do with living a full life and is against anything that gets in the way of that. Work, consumerism and TV get a hard time but pretty much anything else is entertained with a warm smile. If you are not too busy relaxing, take a look at: idler.co.uk/
