Here's all you'll ever need to know to confirm whether your planned solar loop plumbing and pump specification will be fit to handle the power output of your panels. www.navitron.org.uk/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.PipeSizingCalculationstry to aim to keep your deltaT below 10 degrees C whilst at the same time using the narrowest bore of pipe and the lowest power pump. you'll also need either the 'pump curve' chart for the pump, or you can draw this if you know the maximum head of the pump and the maximum flow rate of the pump at zero head. if you don't know the power output of your panels but do know their area (or aperture area in the case of vac tubes), use a max of say 800W per square metre for flats and 500w per sq m for vac tubes.
